Encore Redevelopment is led by Chad Farrell, P.E. Mr. Farrell is a project manager and environmental engineer with over 15 years of experience in the fields of environmental engineering, professional project management and real estate development. He maintains expertise in the assessment, remediation and redevelopment of contaminated properties and performs these services as an owner, owner’s representative and consultant. Mr. Farrell has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University and earned a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Vermont, where he completed a masters thesis entitled “Removal of Residual Tetrachlorethene (PCE) from Homogenous and Layered Heterogeneous Soil Systems Using Alcohol Flushing”. |
Hannah Munger is a graduate of the University of Vermont, with a B.S. in Business Administration and French Language and Literature. Hannah began her work at Encore as a student intern during the Spring 2009 semester. During her internship, she assisted with overall start-up business development, including various marketing initiatives, as well as assisted with coordination and due diligence efforts for several projects. Prior to working with Encore, Hannah studied at the American University of Paris, where she was exposed to a vibrant international setting that triggered her desire for global affairs and sustainable development. Hannah is currently focused on grant writing for Encore's clients who are interested in various state and federal programs revolving around issues of renewable energy and energy efficiency. Additionally, Hannah manages the company website and assists with overall marketing and brand development. |
Collin Ackerman is a graduate of the University of Vermont’s Community Development and Applied Economics program. He holds a B.S. in Community Entrepreneurship, a major combining small business practices with principals of social and environmental responsibility. Collin has worked as a research intern and photographer for Smart Growth Vermont, gathering information and photographing towns which qualify for Vermont’s Designated Downtown or Village Center status. He has also interned with Crane Associates where he interviewed town officials and gained experience with market studies for affordable housing projects. |
Chris Mutty is a recent graduate from Middlebury College with a Bachelors degree in Economics. He joined the Encore team as a student intern in the summer of 2009. While at Middlebury, he has taken an assortment of courses ranging from Environmental Policy to Finance and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). His professional experience includes serving as a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) for children in the Addison County court system, as a Community Impact Intern for United Way of Addison County, and as a Summer Intern for the Vermont Lake Monsters. These educational and professional experiences have improved his interviewing, business development, marketing, sales, and organizational skills. Chris hopes to utilize his knowledge and interest in renewable energy development as well as his entrepreneurial spirit while working at Encore.

Jack Kramer is a candidate for a B.A. at Middlebury College where he plans to graduate in February of 2011 with a double major in Economics and German. Jack has worked as an intern for Federal Judge William K. Sessions and U.S. Senator Bernard Sanders, as well as studied German at the Freie Universität in Berlin. In the course of his studies at Middlebury, Jack has focused on legal and environmental aspects of business which has given rise to an interest in renewable energy. He has investigated the financial feasibility of wind energy and is now looking forward to gaining first-hand experience in the growing business of brownfields redevelopment. |
Anne Fraysse, a California native, is an upcoming senior at the University of Vermont, working towards a B.A. in English and History. Prior to joining the Encore team, she interned at an Oakland, California law firm, Knox Ricksen LLP, where she gained valuable experience in the operation of a business, including human resources, accounting and management activities. Anne maintains a strong interest in and commitment to healthy living, environmental sustainability and ecological redevelopment. She enjoys a variety of outdoor activities and hopes to eventually combine her interests in the environment and ecology with her passion for writing.
