Chad Farrell, P.E. founded Encore Redevelopment in 2007 to fill an observed need in the market for high-level expertise and guidance with respect to the assessment, remediation and redevelopment of environmentally challenged real estate (brownfields), with a focus on finding the highest and best use for property, whether contaminated or simply underutilized. Recently, the highest and best use for such property has included consideration of a renewable energy component.
Drawing on skills refined in the environmental restoration, real estate development and renewable energy fields, Encore is currently focused on identifying the best possible projects and subsequently developing and managing those projects in the most cost effective and time efficient manner possible, with our team growing to respond to the many opportunities provided by the rapidly expanding restoration and clean energy economies. Moving forward, a core component of Encore's business strategy will be leveraging our twin capabilities in brownfield redevelopment and renewable energy project development into a service offering that will enable us to achieve our vision of becoming a national leader in supporting a wide range of public and private sector clients and investors in the utilization of abandoned and/or underutilized property for the deployment of community scale alternative energy systems.
